I did a quick check and found out that it is indeed wrong. Immediately, a few reasons ran through my mind. It might be that the computer that gmail was accessed from had an incorrect date, but that would mean that gmail uses the client&#8217;s date instead of the server&#8217;s. I think that&#8217;s highly unlikely. Another reason would be the user changed the dates while forwarding the messages which I think is not the case. The last that I could think of right now is that it&#8217;s just a glitch. That would be a very convenient reason because an explanation and further investigation will seem fruitless because it&#8217;s just that&#8230; a glitch!
