The router is a Singtel WiFi Gigabit Router AC 2800 that I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll ever use. We are currently using a FortiNet router.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mesh devices didn&#8217;t come with manuals. I looked online but didn&#8217;t get a definitive guide on how to set it up. There is even a website that seems like legit but didn&#8217;t use just because it&#8217;s not using an SSL certificate. The site is ez.airtiesmesh.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Connect the primary Airties device to the router. The technician told me that the device with the odd-numbered last digit will be the device that you connect to the router.<\/li><li>Connect power and switch on.<\/li><li>Go to air4920.local. I found this browsing through the net. Apparently, it points to the internal IP address of the primary device that you can use to configure it.<\/li><li>Change SSID and password. ALWAYS change the SSID and password on a new network device.<\/li><li>Change the device password. The default password is blank. Not the word &#8220;blank&#8221; \u270c.<\/li><li>Check and modify other settings as necessary. I just explored the control panel without changing much.<\/li><li>Switch on the extender.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I didn&#8217;t think the second device will connect automatically to the mesh without fiddling with the settings, but it did.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our router was just delivered together with 2 free AirTies WiFi Mesh.
