I replaced a computers VGA cable with a DVI cable hoping to gain some performance improvement. Both the LCD monitor and the video card supports DVI so I though I’d use it. I searched the forums on the benefit of using a DVI compared to a VGA plug. I found lot of discussions comparing the two standards but the information was either useless or irrelevant. In the end, it came down to DVI using digital signals and VGA using analog signals but still the question remains.
