My job requires me to work on several computers in different locations. Remote Desktop makes my life easier by managing them in the comfort of my desk once Remote Desktop is enabled. That is why it’s always a pain to work on a PC with a Home edition of Windows. Remote desktop is not available which means I have to physically be in the same location. I could install a VNC software but it’s too sluggish. Add to that the process of excluding the port in whatever firewall you have installed. If you are using a different approach, kindly enlighten me.
